Iowa RECs provide electric power to over 6,000 acres of industrial park property ready for construction.

Project Incentive Financing:

IADG and their sponsors work diligently to help businesses and communities across Iowa. USDA Rural Development is a great partnership in this effort. For the past 15 years IADG and their sponsors have captured nearly $60 million in USDA grants and loans for Iowa projects.

Buildings:

IADG's utility sponsors provide power to a wide variety of available buildings.

Value Added Agriculture:

Agriculture is the number one industry in Iowa as the state leads the nation in corn, soybean, pork and egg production. Iowa also is a leader in egg processing, beef and turkey production too. Iowa's dairy industry is on the rise with more dairies from the west coast and southern states finding Iowa a great place to do business.

Partnerships:

The collaboration of Iowa Area Development Group brings together over 80 electric cooperatives and municipal electric systems and 150 independent telephone companies to provide development service and assistance.

For over 27 overs, IADG has helped clients navigate the site selection process with community data, financial incentives, and technical assistance to meet the demands of business.

Iowa Area Development Group’s network of over 200 member-owned electric cooperatives, municipal utilities and independent telecommunications companies throughout the state, have invested prudently in Iowa’s community and business infrastructure – assisting in a wide variety of business development and community development projects, especially in the targeted industry areas of agribusiness, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, information solutions, and logistics/distribution.
