Shine Bros. Corporation, located in Spencer has been in the recycling business since the founders arrived in 1902.  A long family history of buying, selling, and trading ultimately narrowed down to scrap metal recycling.   Today Shine Bros. has five locations that supply and process scrap metal and other materials.  The Spencer operation is located on a 38-acre site originally purchased in the 1950s.  A major equipment expansion and an innovative process were added to the operation that includes an auto shredder that separates aluminum and steel particles.   The new equipment added 15 new people to the operation.
