ITC Midwest has three operating companies that share a focus on building, maintaining, and operating a reliable electric transmission grid for its utility customers. The parent company, ITC Holdings, announced the creation of ITC Midwest and recently acquired electric high-voltage transmission lines in the central Iowa region from Alliant Energy.   The purchase included the acquisition of approximately 6,800 miles of high-voltage transmission lines and approximately 170 transmission substations located in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Missouri.  ITC Midwest has purchased a 30,000 sq. ft. spec building located in the Perry Industrial Park for a warehousing distribution center.  The facility now serves as a base of operations for 25 ITC Midwest staff.
