Performance Pipe of Bloomfield is a major manufacturer of natural gas and water pipes, which are an integral part of the residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental infrastructure.   Performance Pipe, a subsidiary of Chevron Phillips Company has expanded their operation in Bloomfield and added an additional 40 employees.   Performance Pipe, formerly known as Plexco has been an important part of the Bloomfield and Southern Iowa economy for over 30 years.
