Jones Family Dairy, a 4th generation family farm, has grown from milking 400 head of Jersey Cows in 1996 to approximately 1,000 cows milked currently. The latest expansion occurred in 2014, with the addition of a young stock barn to accommodate 500 head of replacement heifers, as well as a 400-cow free-stall barn to bring the milking capacity to 1,100 head. Each day, 6,500 gallons of milk are produced and Jones Family Dairy sells nearly 2.4 million gallons of milk each year. In addition to producing milk for cheese, tours are offered daily, offering visitors a chance to milk cows by hand, bottle feed a newborn calf, and visit the petting zoo.
