DuPont Pioneer, headquartered in Johnston, has been a part of Iowa for 86 years and was recognized for its recent expansion of a new 200,000 sq. ft. regional distribution center located in Spencer. The facility, located in the Green Industrial Center in Spencer, will ship corn and soybean seed products to surrounding states and points beyond. This facility has initial employment of up to 10 workers but has the ability to expand in workforce and size up to 325,000 sq. ft., based on demand. The distribution center joins 14 other existing DuPont Pioneer facilities in Iowa.
