Cookies Food Products is the manufacturer of the award winning sauces “America loves to eat.”  International headquarters and production facilities remain in Wall Lake, Iowa, where a gentleman named L.D. Cook produced the first batch of Cookies
Bar “B” “Q” sauce in 1976.

A year later, a young local farm boy named Speed Herrig assumed sales duties and hit the road selling product from his pick-up.  In 1984, his hard work and persistence paid off when he acquired the company in his own right.

Today the company employs 36 people and is housed in a state-of-the-art 105,000 sq. ft. production and warehouse facility in Wall Lake.  The building also contains a cooking studio where Mr. Herrig originates his TV cooking show which airs in over six states.
