Preferred Wholesale, Inc. (PWI) began in the family home and now operates from its 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse, distribution center, and office in Albia. PWI started as a snack food distribution business and now delivers top-notch products to nearly every state. PWI developed its own brands and is the exclusive supplier of IOWA SMOKEHOUSE jerky and meat snacks and Laura Beth’s line of jams, salsas, dressings, and pickled goods. These distinctively labeled and marketed products can be found at Hy-Vee, Fareway, Orscheln Farm Home stores, and numerous other large and small retail establishments. The company added 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space last year and continues to grow in Albia with quality products and expanding distribution channels.
