AVEKA is a divestiture of the company 3M and is a full-service toll processing and research & development company that focuses on particle technology. AVEKA is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and recently became an employee-owned company, now with over 300 member-owners. The AVEKA Group operates three facilities in Fredericksburg, Cresco, and Waukon. Recently, AVEKA underwent a $2.6 million project in Fredericksburg that included a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse expansion, new equipment, and facility remodeling. AVEKA is also a model of community engagement, supporting many local causes and charities as well as encouraging their employees to be actively engaged in community initiatives. General Manager, Shain Kroenecke demonstrates this commitment by serving as Fredericksburg Mayor for the past 20 years.
