Rural Communities Invited to Register for April 10-12 Conference

GRINNELL, IOWA – The Iowa Rural Development Council announces registration is open for the 2019 Iowa Rural Development Summit, to be held at the Hotel Grinnell April 10-12, 2019.  The Summit begins with an optional free workshop on rural housing the afternoon of April 10.

This will be the third Rural Summit, following a 2016 inaugural event in Jefferson and a 2018 gathering in Grinnell.  More than 300 rural leaders attended each of the first two summits and organizers expect to hit the maximum of 350 attendees in 2019.

The Iowa Rural Development Summit will empower invited Iowa community leaders to use informed research, data and all available resources to develop a comprehensive vision focused on prosperity for the future.

Communities are required to bring a three-person team to the Summit. Before registration can be completed you will need to have the names, business address's, emails, and phone numbers for each person on your team. You will be purchasing three tickets for a total of $180.00. One payment for all three team members at the end of registration is required. Major credit cards are accepted. The first person registering will be responsible for the payment of the team.
