Seven RLFs Help Nutriom Expand in Panora

Congratulations to Nutriom, LLC for the groundbreaking of a new pasteurization facility on the Nutriom groundbreaking in Panora Iowa photosouth edge of Panora. This 9,000 sq. ft. addition will enable Nutriom to accept and pasteurize eggs from the region more efficiently and safely. Shifting intake and pasteurization to the new addition will free up space in the main building for a future third drying lane and a new freeze dryer chamber to support business growth.

Guthrie County REC, Farmers Electric Cooperative in Greenfield, Panora Communications Cooperative, Aureon, and Central Iowa Power Cooperative were among seven organizations that supported this project with their respective RLFs.

Nutriom is a growing, family-owned company, from Washington state, that invented a technique for drying eggs to keep their fresh flavor, nutrition, and functionality. The product is called OvaEasy Egg Crystals. Nutriom was honored with a 2018 Iowa Venture Award. Nutriom is a customer of Panora Municipal Utilities, a wholesale electric customer of Guthrie County REC.
