NRP-IA Under Construction Near Steamboat Rock

Naturally Recycled Proteins- IA, LLC (NRP) is nearing completion of a new $5 million, 27,000 sq. ft. facility in Hardin County. The project will employ approximately 24 people when fully operational. The site is well equipped with infrastructure for the project located along U.S. Highway 20 near Steamboat Rock.   

NRP-IA has developed a patented process utilizing natural enzymes to produce a high protein easily digested feed supplement.  The company presently operates a similar facility that is at full capacity in Wakefield, Nebraska.  

The NRP-IA project will be provided power by Midland Power Cooperative.   Natural gas services will supplied by Consumers Energy.
