The 2008 “Outstanding Business of the Year” Venture Award was presented to Involta located in Cedar Rapids. Involta Involta has completed a 20,000 sq.ft. high-security data center. The company provides full service data center expertise to manage and protect “mission critical” computer systems and associated data for area businesses, government and educational institutions.  The $6.8 million state-of-the-art facility has environmental systems and controls, redundant backup power, specialized fire suppression, and reinforced concrete building construction.
