Wells’ Dairy, Inc. Le Mars, was the recipient of the “Value-Added Agriculture” Venture Award in recognition of their significant contributions and leadership in value-added agriculture.  Wells’ Dairy employs 1,700 people and has made Le Mars the “Ice Cream Capital of the World.”  With over $100 million in recent plant and technology investment, Wells’ Dairy packages over 2000 products from ice cream and frozen novelties to fresh dairy products like milk, yogurt and sour cream.

In 2007 Wells Dairy completed their new corporate headquarters campus at the southwest edge of LeMars.
