Sunrise Farms from Osceola County is an egg producer and processor which has helped Iowa become the number one state for egg production and further processing.  Sunrise Farms began producing eggs in 1994.  In 1996, they started grading and packing eggs. In 1999 they added breaking machines and began marketing liquid egg.  Today Sunrise Farms employs 105 people and has approximately 3 million laying hens that produce 65 million dozen eggs a year.
