Rosenboom Machine & Tool, (RM&T) of Spirit Lake, manufacturers hydraulic cylinders for the agriculture and construction industries.  What began as a small machine shop in Sheldon Iowa in 1974 grew into a 191,000 sq.ft. plant employing 270 people in the community’s industrial park.  Rosenboom Machine & Tool quickly realized their need to continue to grow and expand their operation without exhausting space, resources, and employment availability in Sheldon.  Today Rosenboom Machine & Tool has a 256,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Spirit Lake Business Park.  The 17 acre “campus-like” environment employs over 250 people.
