RELCO Locomotives is a unique family owned operation in Albia.  The company recently built a 100,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art facility for assembly, repairing and remanufacturing train locomotives.  The operation is on a 90 acre site with nearly two miles of rail road spur coming in and out of the main plant.  RELCO employs over 70 people and is adding capacity to meet the needs of today’s resurgent rail industry.
