Nutriant – A Kerry Company is located in Fredericksburg.  Nutriant, a food ingredients company based in Cedar Falls, purchased the former ConAgra plant in Fredericksburg, Iowa.   Nutriant, a division of Kerry Inc. has transformed the plant into a production facility for natural, non-genetically modified soy ingredients.  The company uses mechanical processing to produce low-fat soy flour and soy protein powders for the wholesale market.  The $33 million dollar investment in Fredericksburg created over 50 jobs in northeastern Iowa.
