Distinguished Leadership Award 2003

The Iowa Association of Business & Industry (ABI) was honored with the “Distinguished  Leadership” Venture Award for their many years of championing Iowa business and for their efforts to enhance Iowa’s business climate.  This is the 100th Anniversary of ABI which was originally founded in 1903.   ABI currently represents over 1,500 Iowa businesses that employ over 300,000 Iowans. Member companies and organizations range from as few as one to as many as several thousand. They include every segment of industry in Iowa, whether manufacturing, education, service, retail, hospitality, financial, transportation, health or agriculture.
