IADG Energy Bank Supports Energy Efficiency

BrandFX Body Company produces advanced composite service bodies, line bodies, inserts, toppersBrand FX Body Company Business Photo and covers for installation on service trucks. Two of their eight U.S. production and installation facilities are located in Pocahontas and Swea City, Iowa. BrandFX received a loan through the IADG Energy Bank to update the lighting in the Pocahontas facility. The project includes replacing 195 fixtures of metal halide lighting in its 160,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility with LED lighting. The facility investment will save energy and provide a better, more well-lit work environment for employees.

Trinity Fabricators, Inc. in New Albin also received IADG Energy Bank funds to increase efficiency through the purchase of a plasma cutting system. This allows Trinity to replace multiple pieces of Trinity Fabricators new energy efficient equipment equipment with an automated fabrication process that needs only a fraction of the time compared to manually cutting and preparing the same material. The new system enables Trinity to process more volume and bigger and more complicated designs.

The IADG Energy Bank Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is focused on making loans to businesses and industries for qualifying energy efficiency projects within the State. Preference is given to manufacturers. Loan amounts range from $50,000 - $300,000. For more information visit IADG.com/EnergyBank.
