Rock Valley Locates Two Projects in Westview Industrial Park II

Rock Valley, Iowa will be the newest location for Des Moines Bolt (DMB) Supply, Inc.  The company has purchased the 33,750 sq.ft. APL Building located in Westview Business Park II on the west side of Rock Valley.  DMB Supply is a major distributor of fasteners and industrial supplies in the region with headquarters in Des Moines and branches in Mount Pleasant, Cedar Rapids, Pella and also Lincoln, Nebraska.  “This new warehouse and distribution center in Rock Valley will allow DMB to continue to grow and serve new and existing customers in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota” states DMB President, Wayne Simmer.   Operations are expected to begin in early September.
DMB Supply will occupy half of the building and has secured a lease with Siouxland Fabricating, Inc. for the remaining space in the building.  Siouxland Fabricating will locate their warehousing and material handling operation and expand its operations in Rock Valley.  The company provides welding, assembly, laser, plasma and flame cutting and customized fabricating for industries throughout the entire region.   The metal manufacturing company started in Rock Valley four years ago with only a couple of employees in a smaller building.  Today the company operates 24 hours a day with over 40 employees.
