Sedgwick Selects Bellevue & Dubuque for Office Projects

Sedgwick Claims Management Services, a financial services company based in Memphis, Tennessee, recently announced a plan to create 150 jobs in Dubuque & Bellevue.  The project will add to the existing Sedgwick office in Dubuque while creating a new satellite office in Bellevue.  

The expansion project for Sedgwick won the approval of the Iowa Department of Economic Development who awarded a $440,000 incentive to locate the facilities in Dubuque and Bellevue.   The local development group and city officials worked closely with the Greater Dubuque Development Corporation on the project.  City Manager of Bellevue, Loras Herrig said, “This is tremendous news for Bellevue and the region and we hope to include enterprise zone funding and other incentives to help the project as well.”   Company officials said the expansion is needed to accommodate growing business in disability and absence management areas and that the Bellevue project will employ 44 new people.  

Bellevue Municipal Electric Utility will provide power to the Sedgwick project in Bellevue.
