Precision Pulley and Idler Expands in Corning
Precision Incorporated, an employee owned company, continues to expand its operations in southwest Iowa by leasing a 93,000 sq.ft. building in Corning’s Blue Grass Park. Precision Incorporated manufactures conveyor components for bulk material, baggage and package handling industries world-wide. The expansion in Corning will create 10 new employees as the company expands into the former Wausau Homes building.
The Blue Grass Building board and Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) were successful in securing $702,000 zero interest loan from USDA Rural Development to help structure a lease-to-purchase arrangement for the company. Alec Turner, President of Blue Grass said, “This is a great project and asset for our community and region. Precision Incorporated has been a tremendous community partner, and we are very excited about their expansion.
Precision Incorporated and the Blue Grass Industrial Park are served by Southwest Iowa REC.
