Lyon REC Serves New Resort & Casino

Lyon REC and the northwest Iowa region received welcome news with the groundbreaking of the $120 million Lyon County Resort & Casino to be located near Larchwood along the Missouri River.     This project will become the largest load for Lyon REC.  The complex will feature an 18-hole golf course and 100 room hotel and conference center.   The resort and casino complex will employ over 740 people when it is completed in the summer of 2011.  The Larchwood project will be an impressive attraction for the region and is located just minutes from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota metro area.
