Greene Spec Building Sold Allan Industrial Coatings has purchased the 9,800 sq.ft. spec building in Greene located in northern Butler County. The building was a joint venture with the partnership of Butler County REC, Corn Belt Power and the Greene Development Corporation.  Allan Industrial is based in Des Moines and will be putting in a powder coating line in the new building. The company also has a facility in Allison where they do contract painting for a number of companies in the Midwest. Once operational the project will employ 15 people with the intention to expand the building in the next two to three years. Butler County REC was instrumental in this effort and will supply power to the project
